I first met Rod Stewart at the nightclub Tramp, when he sent over his manager to ask me for a date. I replied that he should ask me out himself, not send someone else to do it, after which we became good friends. Jim was a musician in Rod’s band, and when not working they were often clowning around. On this day, Sabrina and I went dog walking on Malibu beach with them.
